Being a port city, Havana has always been open to sea trade from all 4 corners of the earth. Located along Mercaderes Street, the hotel lies just a short distance from the bay and the historical Old Square. The hotel offers a traditional, 18th/ 19th century inn ambience from the time when inns served as a meeting place for sailors from the legendary galleon fleet during their stay in the city. This historic hotel comprises 2 floors with a total of 5 double rooms. Decorated with sea motifs and scale model replicas of old vessels, facilities within the hotel include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a currency exchange desk, a safe and a cloakroom in addition to a bar, public Internet access (for an additional fee) and a kids' club. There is a restaurant that resembles a Spanish tavern where delicious tapas and select wines are served up to dine in. The Flamenco stage means guests may enjoy some pleasant evening entertainment. The rooms all feature an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone and satellite/ cable TV as well as a minibar, centrally controlled air conditioning, a hire safe and a balcony or terrace. It is 150 m to the nearest golf course. Guests may select their breakfast from an ample buffet; lunch and the evening meal may be taken � la carte whilst the midday meal may also be chosen from a menu. It is possible to book a half-board or a bed and breakfast only stay.
