The hotel is situated within metres of the nearest beach, at the centre of Havana. It is around 7 km to the Plaza de la Revoluci�n whilst the old town and the congress centre are some 8 km from the hotel. All major tourist attractions are easily accessible. In recognition of its historic and patrimonial values, it was declared a National Monument of the Republic of Cuba in 1998.
