Shaba is a BB Boutique Hotel located in a beautiful and characteristic building in the heart of the old centre of Stone Town.Stone Town is the capital city of Zanzibar. The history of this beautiful island goes back hundreds of years. Here on Zanzibar, African and Middle Eastern cultures met making Stone Town an important trading centre from Oman.At that time one of the main trade products was copper, which in Kiswahili (the local language of Tanzania and Zanzibar) is translated as ?shaba?.
